Join us as we march and rally in solidarity with women around the world.

Starts at 11:00am Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Inez grave
Inez grave is behind the Lewis Congregational Church at 8557 US Route 9 in Lewis NY
Continues at 12:00 at Whallonsburg Grange on Rt.22
Whallonsburg Grange is at 1610 NYS Route 22, Whallonsburg NY

Third Annual Adirondack Women's March
at the grave of Inez Milholland in Lewis Cemetery and at Whallonsburg Grange
 
It has been another year...and we need to come together again!To support democracy, truth, and equality. We also need to celebrate the WOMEN”S WAVE!
 
PLEASE bring your family, friends and neighbors. And SPREAD THE WORD.
Everyone is welcomed, and the event is free. Please join us and make your voice heard!
 
PARKING
PARKING is available in church lot or along Fox Run Road and Route 9. We have been asked NOT to park in the cemetery and especially to NOT drive up the cemetery hill. Also, please be respectful of property owners and driveway openings when parking.
 
CEMETERY
Please show respect for all graves in the cemetery. Please DO NOT WALK on gravesites. Please stay on the pathways that have been marked for you.
 
SAVE THE EARTH
Please cleanup after yourself at the grave.
Please bring your own mug for hot drinks and a water bottle.
 
BRING
Besides your water bottle and mug, feel free to bring signs, American flags, flowers, snacks, donations, and camera. Also, we need your voice --- your words, your songs, your spirit!

SCHEDULE and DIRECTIONS
 
10:45 Gather in the parking lot at Lewis Congregational Church at 8557 US Route 9, where US-9 intersects with Fox Run Road/CR-10.
 
11:00 March up to Inez’ grave
 
11:10 National Anthem, Inez Memorial, Flowering-laying Ceremony, Singing, Farewell
 
11:45 Return to cars and drive to Whallonsburg Grange at 1610 NYS Route 22. From Lewis, head East on CR-10 (Lewis-Wadhams Road) about 7.5 miles to Wadhams. Turn left (East) onto Rt. 22 and drive 4 miles to Whallonsburg Grange.

12:00 Rally at Grange with refreshments, music, singing, open-mic, and lots of waves.
